Gothic 1: Chromanin - Part 6 and Swamp Camp Raid

In the Chromanin cave, there is now a corpse of a man. Chromanin 6 is with that Corpse. On opening the book, it doesnt have any text or nothing. Even the corpse had no special gifts. Opening the book spawned two Skeleton mages. I killed them and they too dont have anything special. I was expecting some big thing as a gift of solving this Chromanin riddle. But, there was none. Chromanin Part 6 Map Location Then, I went to swamp camp and killed most of the people there, including a few Baals. I leveled during the swamp camp raid and with the skill points I earned, I learned the Fifth Circle of Magic from Saturas. Then, I went to the mountain Fort and informed Lester about all the things that happened in the Valley and told him to meet his friends at the regular meeting place.

According to Chromanin Part 4, Chromanin 5 is near a ship The small coast near the Chromanin cave have a wreched ship with some nasty Fire Lizards. Go there, and you will find the fifth Chromanin there. Chromanin Part 5 Map Location Chomanin 5 Text says Page 1: "But I shall not walk this path alone. This honor is mine. I must accept to share the power within myself with the worthy ones who are to come and find me. I hope they're come soon..." Gothic 1: Chromanin - Part 4

According to Chromanin Part 3, Chromanin 4 lies near a lake. This is the large lake in front of the Gate of the New Camp. On the Orc Land side of the Lake, lies the fourth Chromanin Book. Chromanin Part 4 Map Location Chomanin 4 Text says Page 1: "I dare not hope to be in the presence of Chromanin one day. Gone and waiting. So easy it will be to achieve absolute perfection. I'm not far from it!" Page 2: (Actual Clue to get Chromanin 5) Long forgotten are the deeds of those who once were aboard. Explanation of Clue to Chromanin 4 "ONCE WERE ABOARD". So, Chromanin 5 must lie in a transportation vessel, which is obviosly a ship. Search near all the ships in the valley of mine and you will surely get Chromanin 5. Gothic 1: ULU-MULU and Old Camp Raid Part 3

I found a big troll near the plain of Old Mine. I killed it and took its teeth. Then, I roamed around the forests and killed a Shadow Beast and took its horn. Then, I went into Old Camp by transforming into a Meat Bug and going through the small gap below the closed gate. I killed all the diggers and guards in Old Camp, even inside the Castle. Then, I went to Swamp Camp and hunted down all the Swamp Sharks there and also took their teeth. Then to get the tongue of fire lizard, I went to the Ship Wreck near the Chromanin Cave. There were nearly 5 Fire Lizards, I killed them all and took their Tongues. With the skill points I earned, I went to Saturas and learned the Thrid Circle of Magic. Then, I gave the minecrawler plates to Wolf. Then, I went back to Free Mine and gave all the four items to Tarrok(the orc slave). He created the ULU-MULU and gave it to me. Gothic 1: Orc Town

I went to the Orc Town with the Ulu-Mulu. Since, I have the Ulu-Mulu, none of the Orcs attack me. I went deep inside the Orc Town and there were 5 orc Shamans worshipping an Idol. I killed them all one by one and took the Figurine at the top of the Idol with the help of Telekinesis spell. Then, I came back and killed all other Orcs, except the few which were dancing and not a threat to me. Before going into the Underground temple, I came back to New Camp and relaxed there for some time.

Gothic 1: Recapturing New Mine and Requirements of ULU-MULU

I went to Saturas Place. There Riordian welcomed me and told me that Gorn was waiting for me and also he has a plan to recapture the free mine. Then I went and met Gorn. He is waiting for me on the way to Free Mine with some other Mercenaries. He told me that we must do a Stealth mission and capture the Free Mine. But, before going there, Gorn told me to go and meet Wolf in the new camp. I went back to the new camp and met wolf there. He told me about a completely new type of armor made of minecrawler's plates. To create one, he wanted me to get some hard minecrawler plates, which is the hardest material in the valley. He also taught me how to cut those hard plates from the minecrawlers. Then I went to the Free Mine with Gorn. In the free mine, I took the best two-handed sword, "Warrior's Voice", from Okyl's body. To know more about the Orc Town, Xardas told me to meet an Orc Shaman in a ruined Old Citadel in the Orc Land. The Citadel is the place, where I took the Chromanin book - Part 2, as in this post . I went to the Citadel and found some Orc Warriors fighting with an Orc Shaman, which must be the Shaman I am looking for. So, I helped that shaman by killing the Orc Warriors. Surprisingly, that Orc Shaman named Ur-Shak spoke to me. I told me a small story about the Sleeper: Orcs call the Sleeper as KRUSHAK. Long back five Orc Shamans built an underground temple for Sleeper and then gave heart to the Sleeper. But, Sleeper is very bad and cursed all those who built the temple. So, the Shamans who built the temple were cursed and they become something like Zombies, alive and dead at the same time. Then, the Orcs at the Orc Town sealed the entrance to the temple of Sleeper. After learning all the details from Milten and Diego, I went to New Camp to inform Lee about the raid. I used the teleport to Magicians of Water rune and went to Saturas room. But, before going there, the Free Mine had been assaulted and captured by the guards of Old Mine. Everyone in New Camp was very upset about this incident and they were planning to somehow take back the Free Mine. I went there are informed Saturas that all the Fire Mages were killed by Gomez. He was very shocked to hear that and he told me that the only way is to get help from the Thirteenth Magician, who leaded all the other mages in the creation of barrier. His name is XARDAS. He is having a secluded life in the middle of Orc Land, studying Dark Magic. All the informers sent to meet Xardas never returned. Three powerful Golems guard the path to Xardas's Tower. Gothic 1: Everything upside down in Old Camp

Then, to speak to the Magicians of Circle of Fire, I proceeded to Old Camp. While going, I met Lee in the New Camp's Dam. He told me some big story about his past, when he was one of the best general of King Rhobar. After he finished his story, I bought Heavy Mercenary Armor from Lee and then proceeded to Old Camp. Near the Old Camp, two bridge guards, guarding the small bridge starts to attack me. I already fought them and took their weapon. So, they hit me with their hand. I killed them and saw Milten standing outside the camp. He seemed very tensed and he says everyone is dead. Also, he is very afraid. I calmed him down and asked what happened. Here is what Milten told me: The Old Mine caved in because of some accident down there and Gomez and his people attacked and killed every magician in Old Camp. But, Milten escaped from them and is now standing here. He itself dont have a clue of whats happening and told me to meet Diego near the other gate of the Camp. Fletcher and some g

Gothic 1: Got all the focus stones

I am in new camp now with all the focus stones. I gave all the focus stones to Saturas. For each and every focus I gave to Saturas, I got 3500 experience. So, with the 14000 experience, I got from Saturas, I levelled up twice. Saturas then thanked me for my great help and he continued that the Magicians in the Circle of Water are not powerful enough to control the massive amount of energies that will come out from the focus stones. So, he wanted me to convince Magicians of Fire to help them in this plan. But, the catch is they are living under Gomez and Gomez will be a ruler only until the barrier exists. So, Magicians of Fire surely wont accept this. Also, Saturas told me thats exactly why he wanted me to do the job. Also, he mentioned someone to ask for help, if everything fails. But, he refuse to give any details about that one and ordered me to win the Magicians of Fire and come. Gothic 1: In search of Focus Stones

With a big number of Potions I got from Riordian, I ventured out to get the focus stones. I decided to get the first focus stone, which is very near the New Camp. To go there, just take the elevating path to the left of the gate of the new camp. On nearing there, you will find Milten, who is looking to get a Talisman there, which is exactly where the focus stone is. He tells a long story and conclude that there is a Undead in there which cant be defeated with normal weapons and only an Destory Undead spell will kill him. He has that spell, but he dont have guts to do it himself, so he gave me the spell scroll and ask me to help him. Then we went inside, and destroyed the Undead in there and also we fought a number of Skeletons of various type. Finally, I got the focus stone and Milten got his Talisman. Gothic 1: Chaper 3: Artifacts of Ancient Power

Then, I went to New Camp. There Gorn stopped me near RiceLord's farm. He told me that he heard everything from Lester and it would be better everything goes into the ear of Saturas. He knows for sure, that definitely I wont be allowed inside to meet Saturas. So, he told me to report of Cronos. I told everyting to Cronos and on telling him, "The Gurus have recognized that they're praying to an evil arch demon!", he told me to report to Saturas. Also, he gave me the password "TETRIANDOCH". With the password, that Cronos gave, I went in and met Saturas. I told him all the story and gave him the Almanac and Focus Stone, which I found. He thanked me for having done such great deeds and also told me that he requirs other four focus stones to break the barrier. Then, I voluntarily said that I would bring the other focus stones. He thanked me again and told me to speak to Riordian. Then, I spoke to Riordian and gave me health and mana potions.

Gothic 1: Old Camp Raid Part 2

Chromanin Part 2 says that Chromanin 3 lies near a river which gets reunited after being separated. Watch the river in front of the Old Camp. It gets separated by a small narrow island on the the right of the bridge, guarded by the bridge guards. Chromanin Part 3 lies in that island. Map Location of Chromanin 3 Chomanin 3 Text says Page 1: "Oh, Ancient Gods, How can it be that a man like me, simple and unworthy, may receive such a great legacy. I feel great fear to lose all of it again by a slight faliering in word or deed.". Page 2: (Actual Clue to get Chromanin 3) The wise fisherman occasionaly tries to get lucky on the other side of the lake. Explanation of Clue to Chromanin 3 This Clue is very simple. It just openly says that Chromanin 4 lies on the side of a lake. You must have guesses and searched very hard to come to this place. So, I am sure that you can, get next Chromanin with ease. Gothic 1: Into Orc Cemetry

I went to Swamp Camp and met Talos there. He took me the place where that Orc Cemetry lies. But he refused to come inside. I crossed the bridge there and fought a few Biters and 3 Orcs there. Then, using the winch there, I opened the gate to the Orc Cemetry. Orc Cemetry is very dark with a number of Orc teeming inside. All the templars are found dead inside. Also, there are a number of dead mummies in the recesses of the walls. There are many number of potions found in those dead mummies. On proceeding inside, I found Baal Lukor fighting a number of Orcs. I ran and helped him by killing those Orcs. In a room there, there are three paths. On two of the paths, I found two halves of a Orcish Spell Scroll. I gave the two halves to Baal Lukor and he told me that the Spell works only at some specific place and not at all the places. Then, we went inside the third path. Inside is a big room with 5 Orc Warriors. We killed them all and in on walking through a place near a wall, Baal Lukor told

According to Chromanin 1, Chromanin Part 2 is likely to be found in the highest place in the Valley, where you will get the full view of all the places in the mine. There is a abandoned ancient building in the Orc Land, situated at top of a big Mountain. This is a important place in the later missions, where you have to meet a Orc Shaman here. In there, there is tower at the top of which Chromanin Part 2 lies. I post here a Screenshot of the tower where Chromanin Part 2 lies. Gothic 1: Wild Hunting and Chromanin

Before going into Orc Cemetry, I planned to learn the level 1 of Two Handed Weapon Fighting Skill. So, I started a hunting session. I remebered a underground cave full of skeletons, where I found a book named Chromanin. So, I went there. There is a tower near the wrecked ship, where there are a number of Fire Lizards. The other opening to that cave lies in the sea to the left side of Ship Wreck place. I went in there through the opening in cave opening in the sea. I fought a large number of different types of Skeletons there and found a Skeleton Mage there. I didnt fought that mage and let it to spawn more skeletons. I keep on killing the summoned skeletons and got much experience. I let the Mage to spawn skeletons for 4 times and then I got bored and killed the Skeleton Mage. Gothic 1: Invocation of Sleeper

Then, I went to Swamp Camp and gave 3 of the eggs to Car Kolem. He took them and gave me some 30 potions for my help. Car Kolem tells me that from these eggs a Strong Secretion can be prepared, which will help Y'Berion to make contact with the Sleeper. But he wanted a book named Almanac, to know more information. He told that he already a Novice named Talos to get that Almanac. But he failed. So, he wanted me to get that Almanac. But, I already got that Almanac during my extensive hunting in this post: Gothic 1: Extensive Hunting with Great Surprises I gave him the Almanac and he told that everything for the Invocation of Sleeper is ready and he went to the Y'Berion's place. There, Y'Berion, Car Kolem and Cor Angar came and started the Invocation. They had a vision of many things which showed an Orc looking creature at the end. After the vision is over, Y'Berion fainted and fell down. He told me that Guru Baal Lukor has gone to a nearyby Orc Cemetry with some templ

Gothic 1: Found a way to open the Old Mine

I dont know what to do with the closed gate of Old Mine. So, searched for the solution in the Internet and came to know that it is a bug, which cant be bugged. But, there is technique to go into the closed gate, which is not even a a cheat. It is very simple. All you have to do is equip the pick axe and target the Ore piece in the wall inside, but close to the gate and start mining it. You will automatically go inside the gate close to that ore. Huraaayyyy!!! A game bug is solved by bad physics in the game. I should have guessed this before a week, so that I could have saved a week of bory play. But, anyway, because of this bug only, I raided Old Camp, Orc Land and levelled up several times and got so many items with me now.

Gothic 1: Old Mine and Minecrawler Queen

I went inside the closed gate of Old Mine, using the technique described in previous post. Then, I met Ian. He told me that there is a surprisingly large number of minecrawlers inside a cave and so he closed the gate to that cave. I told him to open that gate to search for the special secretion of Minecrawler mandibles, which car kolem told me. He told me, he cant because the gearwheel to open the gate is broken. This is the Place where you will get the Gear Wheel So, I searched the gate and found a gearwheel near a masher. I took it to Ian and he told me that I can now open the gate by fixing the gearwheel and telling Asghan, the guardian of the gate, that "Everything's gonna be fine".This is a secret code between Ian and Asghan, which refers to the permission to open the gate by Ian. I went to Asghan and told him the secret code. He accepted to open the gate but only under a condition. He wanted to bring 3 templars for support to manage the minecrawlers that come out, w

RRT II: The Pixely Junction Railroad (PJR)

I played this scenario once with the following settings. But all the time, I got only Game Map: The Pixely Express Starting Year: 1850 Players: SaiYasodharan and two AI opponents Company Name: Indian Railways Financial Model: Expert Industrial Model: Expert Revenue Modifier: None for both Difficulty Rating: 110% The objective of Pixely Junction Railroad Scenario are as follows: The Bronze Goal is to move at least 500 Loads of Cargo. This can include Passengers and Mail, By the end of 3 years. The Silver Goal is to do the above and have a Lifetime profit of atleast $20 million. The Gold Goal is to all the above and by the ONLY company left in the valley by the end of 3 years. This is relatively small map than Heartland, but it is a great map. I was playing great and by 1975, I achieved the silver goal. After a year, in January, 1976, I merged up with the other two companies and hence achieved the final Gold Goal.
