My Gaming Rig

     If anyone ever wondered why the hell I am playing out dated old games like NFS Carbon, when Shift is out, planning for FEAR, when FEAR 3 is soon to be launched, Gothic 1 and 2, when Gothic 4 is to be launched, here is your answer:

     Below is the specification of my grand old PC:

  • Processor : AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+
  • RAM : 1 GB DDR2
  • Hard Disk : 80GB
  • Graphics Card : Inbuilt one with 256 MB video memory (this is the worst part)
  • 15” Monitor
  • DVD Drive: None (thx a lot for the pen drives)
  • and a 9 year old speaker, but still working great :D

     This is the reason I always used to play out dated games, but I hope, time to upgrade my PC will come soon :D

    Man you def need to upgrade your cpu -- i'm running a 4 year old laptop that has higher specs than that!

This is a very nice Scenario, with nice series of Mission Objectives. Unlike other scenarious, where you will be asked to attain certain goal in certain amount of time, this game has a series of tasks, which you have to complete one by one, but in a limited time. For Bronze, it is said that the game should be completed in 100 years. Since, I was playing this map for the first time, I was not pushing myself too much and decided to work for Bronze. This Map is divided into two parts, where one part is the mirror of the other. All the Cities, Industries and even forests are similar in both the parts. You can play only in one part and you foe plays in the other. The Winner, is the one, who first connects the Starting Gate and Finishing Line and haul 50 loads of Cargo between them. But there are so many territories between Starting Gate and Finishing Line, to which you wont be having the access rights. Gothic 1: Beaten Lefty and Rice Lord

I sold some of the trophies taken from animals and gave lares 400 Ore as the profit got from selling Isidro's weeds. But, actually, I didnt sold them all. Then, I increased my strength with the skill points I got from last level up. Then, I slept in my hut in New Camp, woke up next morning and went to Rice Lord'd farm with the idea of fighting Lefty. On nearing Lefty, he wantedly called me and started the fight. The moment, I hit lefty once, Rice Lord came to kill me. I quickly beaten lefty and hit Rice Lord too. So, from now on, Lefty wont be a threat to me. At this point of the game, i was tired of running from Camp to Camp, which is very boring. So, I decided to use a cheat to spawn Potion of Velocity, which will increse the running speed. Then, I started an extensive hunting session. I killed Snappers, Lurkers, Lizards, Wolves and much more and got levelled up. Even I tried to kill Bloodhound, but they are very tough for me now.

AOE 2: Attila the Hun: The Scourge of God

Yesterday, I started Attila the Hun Campaign on hard difficulty level and completed the The Scourge of God mission. On game start Bleda, the king of Huns challenges Attila for a contest. Some speeches goes on for a minute between Attila and Bleda. Then, Bleda betrays Attila, changes the diplomacy to Enemy. But Attila will be having some loyal followers. With their help, kill Bleda and all the remaining units and empire of Bleda becomes Attilas'. Make all your units to attack Bleda, so that the remaining unit of Bleda gets converted into Attilas' after Bleda is killed. Then, I started building my Empire. My gameplay style is build a strong empire with defensive forts, then create a large army and raid other civilizations. In this game also, I started gathering resources at light speed with nearly 50 villagers and establised a defensive territory. Then, I created a big army of Skirmishers and Cavalry. Also, I created a dozen of Battering Rams to tear down the structures
